2015 Ones To Watch
2015 is here and just like everyone else we have a bit of a list of those we will be keeping a close eye on this year… here’s our top 10 (in no order) of ones to watch…
Jungle Doctors
We spent most of 2014 watching these guys too, and a bit of 2013 but 2015 could really be the year they make more of an impact.
Prides
These guys have already started making huge noises in all the right places over the last 12 months and with their debut album due for release sometime this year I think 2015 could see them catapult to big things.
High Tyde
While Popped hasn’t posted these guys yet we have had a sneaky listen or 3 of their impending debut EP and it’s a belter. So for that reason alone these guys have caught our attention and we will be watching with expectant eyes and listening with expectant ears!
Jim Valentine
These guys have come hit me smack bang between the eyes toward the end of 2014 – I think they could be an interesting band to watch as they creep into venues across the UK for bigger and better shows.
Kloe
Her debut track Grip sneaked into our best of 2014 tracks and I’ll be sure to be keeping an eye on where else she gets into this year.
All We Are
I think their track Keep Me Alive was the most times I listened to anything on repeat for the whole of 2014. I am certain this band are going to continue growing in stature over the course of the next 12 months and more.
Jack Garrett
He may already be quite well known to many but it’s not just the acts making their next small step that are keeping my interest. Jack Garrett definitely deserves to be watched this year.
Blossoms
Heading out on a few support slots with The Charlatans this Spring should see this great band from the NW continue to pick up new fans and more great support slots as well as bigger headline shows for 2015. Exciting times should be a blossoming.
Of Empires
OK so these guys have already been shouted about by the likes of MTV as their brand new for 2015 act so are heading into the year on a high note already. Can’t wait to see what they bring to the party this year.
Palace
One of my most adored new bands of 2014 these guys just need to be going places this year. They made my top 10 gigs of 2014 as well as had a track in our best tracks of the year too. It’s only right they’re listed here. Such high hopes for them.
