threshold six posterThreshold Festival, now in it’s 6th glorious year, is a collaborative approach to a festival – with many other people involved in curating the music stages and events, including Wirral based festival Astral Coast and Liverpool promoters Liverpool Acoustic, Mellowtone and Hope Fest, immersive arts and music funsters INKbeat, local label Antipop Records, and many more!

The venues for Threshold Six are, as always,  spread out across the Baltic Triangle area of Liverpool. That’s the area that is situated on the ..ahem.. threshold of the city centre. It is here where you can catch a multitude of music, art and performance anywhere from the new kid on the block Black Lodge to outside at Constellations and  inside at The Observatory, to Unit 51, 24 Kitchen Street and The Baltic Social, to name but a few of the spaces and venues being used over the weekend.

Our top picks for this years festival was really quite a difficult one but the following bands have all made a huge impression on us over the last year or so and fit perfectly within our Popped remit so hell why not…. if you want to know where to find us try catching some of these  bands over the weekend:
