Chapel Club 2011

Today Chapel Club have announced details of their forthcoming Autumn tour. It is a tour with a slight difference. The band will be supporting themselves alongside other bands Clock Opera, Elephant (Portsmouth) and Other Lives (London).

With a headline set featuring tracks from their début album Palace and their Wintering EP the band will also perform a short set featuring brand new material. The band have spoken about their desire to reinvent their sound and frontman Lewis Bowman explains that

“We all have a lot of love for the songs [on Palace] and we love that so many people have taken them to their hearts. But when we wrote them we were still learning how to write songs together. Now we have a bit more experience, we’re better able to explore the possibilities. Everything feels freer and fresher and more relaxed and more exciting; hopefully the new songs reflect that.”

The double set shows are arranged for October, with dates as follows:
