Greenday – The Forgotten
So Greenday become the next rock band in line to sign up to one of the world’s largest film franchises and add their name to the soundtrack for Breaking Dawn Part 2. On Halloween (are they trying to say something?) they releaesed the video for the song and fans of vampires and rock music across the globe started talking about it. Now, don’t get me wrong, as partial as I can be for a bit of vamp and a bit of Greenday, I kind of prefer listening to the track and not watching the video. Spoilers Ahoy!
It’s video of the day because well, really I want to know your opinions! Good move, bad move by Greenday? Youtube comments seem split already but then we know there’s heaps of trolls on there so…. feel free to leave your unaggressive and reasonable comments below 😉 Clearly the band were up for it
“When we were asked to be part of the Breaking Dawn – Part 2 soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon,” says Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt. “We have always been impressed with the way the Twilight soundtracks are so carefully curated.”
