The emotions that come packaged up in this track required a certain kind of video and I think that director Vince Haycock has hit the nail on the head with this one. It’s murky and sad and not only that but shows that not only is Florence a talent for what she is known but also a fine actress. Everything about this video feels raw and emotional.
The video, shot in LA, also features hot to trot actor Ben Mendelsohn, who you might recognise from recent films Killing Them Softly (with Brad Pitt) and the amazing The Dark Knight Rises. All in all everything about this video is pretty impressive on all levels and that’s why it’s Popped’s vid of the day.
Lover To Lover is out on 4th December.
