Well there are music videos and there are short films/animations that more than bring a song to life, this is certainly one of the latter. It’s just lovely. OK so it might all be a bit on the slow and long side but it is an investment of your time I assure you.
I don’t usually critique the videos themselves but there is something very clever about the lighting effects at times during this video, very nice indeed. For those interested to know, the video was irected by Jess Cope and Simon Cartwright and I know I’ll be sure to look out for their other projects too.
The Raven That Refused To Sing is the title track of Steven Wilson’s forthcoming album due for release on 25th of February.
