Yes I know It’s Mumford And Sons, yes I know this video will be everywhere but that’s not the point of these kinds of posts. I want to celebrate the medium of the music video done well rather than music video for the sake of music video (they can often feel a bit like that).
The video for Babel made me really really smile and for that alone it would be worthy of video of the day but it’s because it’s so clever; the editing, the shooting, the lighting. Everything that had to be done to create this strangely hypnotic and fun video made it the one for today.
