Just Listen: The Clause – In My Element

The Clause – In My Element

Words: Chloe Hyde

Rising Birmingham Rock quartet The Clause prove they are completely, in fact, it in their element with their new single.

In My Element boldly showcases the band’s passion for strong riffs and a tune which you can’t help but hum along to for endless days after your first listen. This upbeat track is the celebration of a feeling so euphoric and triumphant that nothing in the world can take you off Cloud 9. All the troubles of life seem to melt away in these mere 3 and a half minutes as you become a part of the band’s exhilaration.

The drums take centre stage during the verses, and with the electric guitar gradually, it makes for an energetic and powerful chorus: “flying high in the sunshine, I won’t lie but I’m feeling fine”.

It’s impossible to listen to In My Element without feeling on top of the world too.
