Introducing: Of Empires

Of Empires

of empiresOf Empires are a new Brighton based band who have only been together for a short while considering they have already got themselves together enough to carve out some fantasticly rousing tracks. They’ve then managed to get them laid down with the help of engineer Ben Thakeray (Oasis, Jamie Cullum), have them mixed by Jon Gray (The Kooks, The Subways, Editors) and then shove some of them onto their very fine Debut EP.

The three-track EP, Stranger Sensations, manages to bring together the more traditional elements of early rock ‘n’ roll (just listen to those riffs) as well as managing to keep it sounding relatively now with what they like to call “modern influences”.
