Can’t Leave You
Brooklyn based Doe Paoro is about to release her debut album, Slow To Love, in the UK on January 31st. From that album she releases the first single Can’t Leave You. Paoro has spend some time traveling around and has found herself drawn toward a relaxed pace of life including silent meditation and taking a strong interest in a vocally acrobatic, unusual Tibetan-style opera called Lhamo. She takes these influences and pulls them through into her music whilst still sounding stunningly fresh and modern. Most certainly one to look out for in 2012.
