Diamond Rugs are a super group made up of various members of other bands that we love. So I guess you want to know a little bit more huh? Like who and what bands. There’s Robbie Crowell from Deer Tick, Ian Saint Pe from the brilliant Black Lips, Steve Berlin, Los Lobos, Hardy Morris lead singer with Dead Confederate, and Bryan Dufresne, Six Finger Satellit. – Yeah, I know right.
Between them they have done many a cool thing, including collaborations with the likes of Tom Waits, Paul Simon, Elvis Costello, and The Replacements. You can also throw in a few Grammys too for good measure.
Together the Diamond Rugs release their debut self titled album on March 25th, the same day as the lead single Hightail.
