Dancing Years
The name may have reminded me of Those Dancing Days but musically they are nothing alike. Dancing Years are folky singer songwriter Leeds duo David Henshaw and Joseph Lawrenson and were formally known as, the not quite so inspirationally named, Joseph&David. The guys have been together for a few years now but are slowly gathering more and more momentum having supported the likes of Benjamin Francis Leftwich and Foy Vance amongst others during three years of hard work to get noticed. I’ve noticed, finally, and I like!
So while some of you may well know Dancing Years I hope that some one out there will read this and be introduced and Dancing Years will have gained one more fan, although I expect it to be more than just the one! In the meantime there’s a free download to be had below.
