Two Prongs
A band who takes the time to make sure I pay attention to their music because they want me to write about them deserves a full review even if I can’t find out anything about them other than there are five lads and they live in Brighton. I also know that it was worth their persistence because this is one of the most catchy little tunes I’ve heard in ages.
You’ll have to maybe look past the title, it’s a bit strange, but somehow adds to the charm of this whistful and oh so “indie” sounding track. Two Prongs by Lion Bark develops into a very nice track and I must say I rather enjoy the summery sounding chorus. The song smacks of nostalgia in every positive way possible; the vocal is very deadpan and proper, the guitar has those little 50s/60s licks and the drums are almost skiffle like. A real treat.
