Introducing: Rivulet – Russolo
Rivulet
“The internet is a great thing” Rivulet’s drummer Joe tells me. It’s the internet and a website called joinmyband that had these three young guys meet in a pub in Kingston (my hometown too!) and decide they wanted to make music together.
Dan Hennessey (vocals/keyboards/bass), Calvin Sproston (guitars and backing vocals) and Joe Reece (drums) all had the same motive, ideas and wanted to try something different and the result is pretty damn good for a band that only formed in January this year.
Rivulet are so new they’ve yet to play their first show as they are rehearsing, writing and generally trying to be the best they can be. If demo Russolo is anything to go by we are going to be in for a treat.
