Just Watch: Bear’s Den – Elysium

Bear’s Den

Watch the video for Elysium here:

Elysium Bear's Den 2014is released as a single on July 21st via Communion/Caroline.

The video was filmed in Seattle by film-maker and friend of the band Marcus Haney. Marcus travelled to Seattle to film his brother’s friends (with their blessing) at the end of term time with the intention of making a clip for Bear’s Den to use for Elysium.

However, during Marcus’ four days filming, a lone gunman attacked the University campus where Marcus’ brother and friends lived and the resulting film reflects the group’s actions over the course of those four days. Despite – or perhaps because of – difficult circumstances, each participant elected to continue filming as events unfolded. There are no actors involved in the video; events are portrayed as they happened.
