At first listen the beginning of this Eighteen didn’t exactly make me jump for joy. I thought it sounded a bit like a terrible 90s dance track, and it kind of does. That being said, Dive In totally rescue it and drag it into the modern world, even though it still revisits both 80s and 90s party sounds. It’s catchy as hell and sometimes that’s all you need for something to work. And work it does.
