Video Exclusive: Beds In Parks – Mabel (When It Gets Dark)

Beds In Parks

beds in parksOur good friends at Crocodile Records have given us yet another exclusive. This time it’s in the shape of their new signing Beds In Parks. A collaborative project between label owner and Hatcham Social Drummer Finnigan Kidd and Joanna Curwood (The History Of Apple Pie, Big Sister). The pair found inspiration from a shared love of alternative rock ‘n’ roll music like The Velvets, PJ Harvey, Iggy, The Vaselines, Mary Chain, Mazzy Star and The Breeders. They also love all things DIY.

Their debut track, Mabel (When It Gets Dark) was released on Monday (2oth April 2015) for which they’ve given us the pleasure of an exclusive preview below. The track is a home recording, another nod to their love of DIY, and they are unashamed in their delivery; it’s full pelt scuzzy abandon at its best.

Find Beds In Parks on Facebook.
