11892328_579823418823845_5712150054910099306_oWe first saw Jesse Will live at Liverpool Sound City earlier in the year following a steady stream of press he’s received since Taylor Swift herself tweeted about his cover of one of her tracks. Since then Jesse has been working hard on his own original material. A singer-songwriter at heart, Jesse moves between influences of folk, blues and acoustic-indie. The first single from his forthcoming EP Every Thread, Genevieve is a touching and soft song that explores the emotional effort it takes to allow a man to be vulnerable with himself and open up to the idea of love. Jesse’s style perfectly reflects the theme. He moves fluidly between falsetto and stronger, gruntier notes all back-dropped over him playing guitar and a violinist accompanying him.
