Blossoms
Watch the video for Charlemange here:
Blossoms follow up their massive track Blown Rose with new single Charlemange. This time they’re kicking things back up a little. It’s more like their earlier tracks; more hints at rock n roll without actually being rock n roll and this is how I prefer them to be. Not that Blown Rose wasn’t a great track but it was more soft and squidgy indie pop than their slightly edgier tracks such as Cut Me And I’ll Bleed. Charlemange isn’t lacking in your indie guitar feel though and the opening bars are doused heavily in an 80s vibe. They also pick up swathes of 60s sway. So all in all an indie rock band who time travel. It’s all sounding just so so good.
