Video Exclusive: Natives – Chasing Lions Acoustic

nativesAfter taking almost a year out, four piece, Natives, returned but weeks ago with a new and fresh sound. The first taste comes in the form from an African inspired Chasing Lions. A single which intelligently layers sounds, styles and genres and delves into themes of fight or flight and the exhilarating release of conquering fear or being outside of your comfort zone. Perhaps an apt track to put forward as an introduction to their new album, which has been two years in the making.

Chasing Lions has its official release today and as way of celebration Natives have recorded this charming acoustic version, displaying their musical prowess, which is as as exciting as the thought of their ambitious concept-album that will include a 20-track story as well as an accompanying novel.
