Ones To Watch:

The Van Ts

Sisters Hannah and Chloe Van Thompson front the rock infused four piece, with Joanne Forbes on bass and Shaun Hood on drums.

“Everything you ever wanted from a 90’s dream,” The Van Ts spark a distinct sound through a variety of raucous beats and sugar-coated vocals; candied pop meet vigorous rock in swirls of dream-like tunes.

Not to be missed on at Flat 0/1 at midnight.

INDIGO VELVET

“One of your five-a-day,” and that’s not a lie. Edinburgh’s four piece, Indigo Velvet squeeze fruity melodies into every release.

Composed of Darren, Jason, Billy and Laurie, the quartet are renowned for their brand of tropical pop music. Bursting with colour anywhere they go and residing in sun-blushed tracks; dulcet lyrics front their sound.

8:45 at 02 ABC2; a promising set.

AMERICAN CLAY

Starting as a bedroom project, Glasgow’s American Clay now take pride in authentic pop melodies.

Bouncing to the brim with energy, Martin, Ross, William and Chris create tracks worthy of being stuck in your head days on end. Jangly guitars meet impulsive drums in American Clay’s twist of 90s indie rock.

A memorable gig for sure, head to Nice ‘N’ Sleazy for 4:30.
