It isn’t just that Island vocalist Rollo has a mega distinctive voice that makes every Island song instantly recognizable, it’s everything; the song structure, the guitars, the pacing, the waves upon waves of shimmery goodness that sweeps over you from the get go. So you can say it’s safe to say that Ride doesn’t disappoint. The guitar motif follows you from start to finish you’re totally along for the ride of the track. I just can’t get enough of this band and with their debut album due soon I won’t have to wait too long for more.
