The Amazons – Mother

Fucker. Right, now that’s out of the way…. as in every time Matt sings it, that’s what I shout afterwards. It seems entirely appropriate to be honest (not to Matt!) but for the song. In true Amazons style, their new single Mother thrashes around and lashes out not caring who gets caught in the crossfire. A thudding intro tells you all you need to go – it’s no-nonsense rock music and influences are worn on the sleeve, and why the hell not. The theme is just as in your face and we agree with the sentiment. Own your mistakes. Mother fucker – just own them, ok.
