Walt Disco are setting a president up in their hometown of Glasgow – alongside neighbouring bands Lucia and The Ninth Wave, there’s something extremely exciting happening and Dancing Shoes is another fine example. Murderously gothic with deeply entrenched sounds of the 80s Post Romantic and a vocal that raises the hairs on the back of your neck. Throw into the mix a delicious hint of disco with a rhythm that knows not how to stay still and a slick production that tightly knits the pulses together to form a gleaming shimmering edge to the darkness.
