Formerly known as just LUCIA, the change of name pays homage to their first release ‘The Best Boys EP’. It signifies the death of LUCIA as we knew it, and the birth of something reinvigorated, bigger and better. This is their second single since the Cheap Talk EP which contains arguably their best work to date until now that is.

This latest release has taken a slightly darker turn musically to some of their previous releases. Up to now, they had a very glam pop-rock image, but in this latest chapter, they have used of the experience of their producer, Carlos De La Garza to create a much more clearly identified sound that they can now mature to put their stamp on the industry. To create a signature Lucia & The Best Boys style. Whilst this is one of their more sombre tracks, the upbeat intensity found in tracks like Summertime still remains a huge part.

I have seen this band grow over the past few years, with a few distinct changes along the way, and hopefully this is the one that will really allow them kick on and grow exponentially to become the latest formidable act to come out of Glasgow.
