Hold the line…. I have a complaint… hear me out though before you go thinking popped has gone all miserable and now we are sharing stuff we don’t like… the complaint is that Island’s new single Octopus is too damn short. Please can I request an extended album version or some such thing. I need way more of this shimmering beauty in my life, so I can close my eyes and pretend I’m elsewhere and that there’s no pandemic and I’ve not spent months practically living in one room, maybe I’m crazy but that’s just how I roll. While I’m here…. can someone explain to me the artwork because I’m at a loss, but then again, it’s 2021 and after the last almost year we have all had, does anything make sense anymore?
