With a real mellow flow Swansea’s Lost Tuesday Society cast the net wide with new track Constant State Of and reel you right in. Soft and enticing vocals are only a small part of the magic this band weave on this track. The guitars also play their part, dancing lightly, flickers of light bounce across the 70s vibe soundscape. The lyrics are hopeful with slight hints at melancholy which comes through in the sincerity of the beautiful vocal. The track builds ever so slightly but not to anything that doesn’t keep to it’s insanely pretty and floating feeling.
The Lost Tuesday Society have been working with Joe Gibb (David Bowie, Catatonia, Leftfield are all bands he’s formed sounds for) and have also managed to have their art work done by Dan Hillier, he of Royal Blood album cover fame (also incidentally one of our favourite album art works in years). Everything is looking, and sounding, like it’s all on track for these folks to have a pretty interesting rest of 2015.
