Here at Popped Music we love giving love to the little guys as much love as our top favourite bands. JOAN is a wonderful example of a fun big-little NY indie band creating wholesome yet groovy tunes. Jeepers Creepers is as creepy as the title suggests, as in, it’s almost over before you realise how much you’re enjoying it. With atmospheric background noise, a garage-band riff throughout and a dark sultry vocal running underneath it all, JOAN come across as humble yet talented, this track is simple, well produced and unique.
