When I first listened to Silence, the latest track by singer/producer Kids At Midnight, I found that it had a mixed sound of two very popular artists; Marina and The Diamonds and the haunting vocals of Lana Del Rey. The vocals are dreamy but also can reach a very high pitch. This could be a love or hate thing for some, but in my case, I love it. The sounds of zoned out and faded drum beats and dribs and drabs of the guitar really does make me excited to see what this Australian has to offer for the future and if she’ll continue to fulfil this promising project.
