Cosmo Sheldrake
This young twentysomething from Brighton has just popped up on my radar, well more like, strategically been placed there by his manager. I don’t actually care how when or why I find something as long as when I first hear it it makes me feel something good. Cosmo Sheldrake’s music certainly does that. By the end of the first 20 seconds I was already wanting to hear more than one track.
His current bio reads like he’s up for hero of the year award, what with his work with running vocal improv and beatboxing workshops as well as youth empowerment and wilderness camp. Oh don’t let us forget; teaching kids workshops in schools, running a regular community choir, playing in a band (Gental Mystics) with his brother AND still finding time to make his own awesome music. Amazing!
He’s about to go off and tour North American before coming back to play some UK shows. Until then enjoy the sounds below.
