Introducing: White Royal
White Royal
White Royal are Josh Hobson (lead vocals and guitars), Jonty Brown (drums) and Tom Balmfortham (keyboards/electronics). They are all from Harrogate where Jonty and Tom met at secondary school and were in and out of bands together until finally finding their singer via a friend making a very late night call to introduce him. That as they say, is that and White Royal were formed.
Influences wise they draw from a wise spectrum including film scores, minimalist composers like Philip Glass/Steve Reich to more contemporary popular music including The National, Slint, Darkside and Warpaint to name a few
