Oh, Be Clever

Popped Music is excited to bring you not only an introduction to Salt Lake City/London based duo Oh, Be Clever but also to be bringing with it an exclusive free download of their new track Paint Me Gold.

Oh, Be Clever is the project of vocalist and wordsmith Brittney Shields  and instrumentalist Corey Scott Layton. The pair were both members of bands who apparently “loathed each other to the point of physical violence.”  So it should be seen as a miracle then perhaps that both Layton and Sheilds managed to walk away as their band mates threw their punches. The pair then decided to collaborate and to bring together their two different sounds, which, as you’ll hear work oh, so well together.

The duo plan to bring their sounds over to the UK to play live shows early in 2015 so keep your eye out for dates.
