Introducing: Port Isla – In The Long Run

Occasionally things sit in my inbox for much longer than they should do because I can’t remember how good it is. This is certainly one of those occasions, and as always I regret that wait. It’s also been almost 3 years since Port Isla met at University in Norwich and they’ve already released their debut EP (Steamroller). Popped has caught up just in the nick of time and we bring you a listen of their title track to their 2nd EP; In The Long Run, which was released this Monday (23/11/14).
If you’re a James Bay fan and have seen him on his recent tour then you may well have already seen Port Isla too as they headed out on his recent Sold Out tour. That was probably no big deal for these guys as they’ve also supported George Ezra on his Sold Out tour as well! It’s probably of little surprise that with sounds as strong as this track and support such as they have already had, that the band has signed to Parlophone and are certainly going to go more places than just on tour with other great acts.
