It takes a lot for a solo singer songwriter to capture my attention, let alone my heart, these days. I hear so many; some good, some bad, but many many mediocre. The Beach, however, has totally captured my everything with his track Thieves. It demonstrates not only a special song writing ability but also a feeling, an atmosphere and it evokes a passion that somehow feels lacking in so many other songs that try to win me over.
