It’s been a while since I’ve heard anything quite as pretty as Forest Fires by Axel Flóvent . It’s folk but it’s so delicately done and oh so beautifully poetic. There’s an undeniable comparison to the likes of Bon Iver, with those ever ascending notes that lick like flames, bringing a touch of warmth to picturesque scene that Axel is painting.
