Kid Wave’s new single Honey is as gloriously grungy and shoegaze as their past few efforts and I never want them to change. It’s a bit like having a hug from an old friend. There’s nothing new to be found here, in fact there’s a little bit of  a Pixies vibe at times with the guitar, but those guitar riffs bring a little thrill and the vocals feel warm and safe.

Honey is released on 8th June and taken from their debut album, Wonderlust, released on June 1st.
