Infectious as anything I’ve heard in an absolute age is LA duo Xylø’s debut track Between The Devil And The Deep Blue Sea. Even their sound drowns as they go, vocals disappear momentarily under water, while presumably, the spirit sings out loud and clear above it. It’s a perfect slice of electronica with a vocal melody that captures and does its best to demand you sing along to lyrics that are so on point it hurts.
