Cristobal And The Sea had an immediate impact on me the very first time I heard them and ever since then they have entertained my ears in a way so many others don’t quite manage to do. Their new track Fish Eye is possibly one of their least crazy tracks though the lyrics “she licks my neck like I’m gelato” kind of gives the game away. Sound-wise this is very much a Vampire Weekend vibe, it’s all in a very high and heady, not to mention fun.
