It’s with a heavy heart I make this post. Two years ago was the first time I saw Swiss Lips at a gig in Birmingham and while some of the people I was with didn’t much care for them I thought they were great and I still do. Why so sad then? They’ve decided to call it a day. After a long slog, a debut and an signing with Sony Epic it’s a shame they felt it had all lost it’s sparkle and had become a drain. You wouldn’t think it from Got It Bad. It’s as upbeat and as bouncy as I’ve ever heard them. It will be released on Friday 21st August 2015 as a free download. An album of b-sides and rarities will also be available.

Statement from the band:

“We have decided that this is the end for Swiss Lips. The thing we loved the most became a drain, it’s pretty gruesome out there for a small band in 2015. To anyone who cares or cared, we thank you for coming along for the ride, and more importantly for the support you gave, we truly appreciate it and had some amazing times.  All ends bring new beginnings, hopefully see you around.
