Peter Lyons more or less manages to get that “tv take over” effect you so often see when a movie baddy forcefully steals a TV channel. First it goes fuzzy, blurrs in and out until you see the bigger picture. By chopping up disjointed electronica with a more classical sting feel in his latest track Envy is how he completes his mastermind takeover. It’s a beautiful and cinematic yet never settles and the bigger picture is in the unease of the jaunty sounds.
