The vocal layering on Cool Blue against the repetitive guitar at the start of this track is a damn smart move by The Japanese House because it grabs your attention but in an undemanding way. It captures the imagination and before it gets a chance to become stale the chorus kicks in and brings with it a new texture and dimension. It feels like a full and exciting track for something that ultimately is actually pretty minimal.
