Sometimes it feels like bands just churn out track after track after track and other times it feels like it’s been an absolute age until they drip feed us some more of their musical medicine. It’s not really been that long since Saltwater Sun delivered but long enough that by the time Making Eyes landed on my metaphorical doorstep that I immediately felt bereft of them and listened hungrily and greedily. Some things are worth the wait – this is certainly one of those times. Sweet vocals, upbeat melodies and wonderful riffs with a kick up the backside present too.
