Just Listen: The Lumineers – Ophelia

The Lumineers

the lumineersThe long awaited return of The Lumineers sees them come back with a short folky tale of love and woe in their new single Ophelia. There’s no distinct change of sound that suggests their new album will hold any surprises but you never do know. There’s a fantastic boogie woogie influenced piano part in this that I just love. Coupled with the upbeat and very easy sing-along chorus. It’s just the ticket right now.

Ophelia is taken from the forthcoming album, Cleopatra, released on 8th of April

Thur Apr 14 – Bristol, O2 Academy
Fri Apr 15 – Glasgow, Barrowlands
Tue Apr 19 – Manchester, Albert Hall
Sat Apr 23 – London, O2 Shepherds Bush Empire
