Describing their sound as “pop”, Dream Wife announce their debut self-titled EP through Cannibal Hymns on Friday 11th March 2016. They also shared the lead single from said EP; Hey Heartbreaker. It’s not exactly what I have in mind as “pop” – it’s definitely rock n roll – it screams early days Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Le Tigre and of course an undeniable flavour of punk a la Joan Jet and The Blackhearts. It’s got a feverish energy and vocals that sure mean business, both of which caught my attention straight away. Jump straight in because Dream Wife are ready to go!
