Just Listen: Matthew And The Atlas – Temple

Matthew And The Atlas

mathew and the atlasThere’s such a beauty to the character of the vocal of Matt Hegarty that I think he could sing me anything, potentially even out of tune, and I’d still feel like I was being wrapped in velvet and sinking into a seat made of marshmallow. The musical landscape is somewhat a different ball game though – energetic and taking twists and turns as the band direct you through their musical maze, taking only a short pause for breath along the way. The track culminates with battling guitars, before the final few gasps for air are taken and the track meets its maker.

Temple is taken from the band’s forthcoming album of the same name, due for release on April 22nd via Communion Records.
