Prides

The (ahem) pride of Glasgow, Prides, return with new single Rome and it brings a ever so slightly rockier edge to their usual disco-pop infused sound. Fear not though if that’s what you’ve always loved about them, that feel is still very much still the thread that keeps the track stitched together. I found the opening electronic percussion instantly caught my attention and there’s quite a 1975 vibe to it too; a little more space and reverb than their previous singles. I’m enjoying the experimentation and looking forward now even more so to what else is to come.
