Just Listen: Pink Milk – Detroit

Pink Milk

Words: Georgia Evans

pink milkSwedish stars, Pink Milk are influenced by bubblegum shoegaze infused sounds which they mix with, quite frankly, more than a hint of fuzz. Latest single Detroit starts off with a swift and simple beat and lengthy distorted guitar sounds with swirling magical melodies. When I first listened to Detroit, I felt like I was in some sort of crazy dream, maybe even someone else’s.

Pink Milk wrote Detroit about their childhood, which makes me very intrigued and curious to listen to even more of their music and see what other insights they might entrust.
