Just Listen: The Van T’s – Blood Orange

The Van T’s

Words: Georgia-Mae Blackman

the van t'sWith the gritty and booming guitar solo right the very beginning of the track, The Van T’s immediately introduce us their loudness as they present their latest track Blood Orange. These four girls are quite the group and hit hard with strong vocals. The contrast between the grungy bass strums and the small beats of the drums really creates the noisy, dirty and psychedelic sounds which makes me think of musical similarities such as Wolf Alice and even punkier art bands bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins.
