Starting with a synth line that is reminiscent of cliched sounds of the orient whilst being attention-grabbingly sharp, it gets the listener ready for what more is to come. This motif is repeated throughout the track and works as break between the different acts of the song. Catch Fire by Hicari is without doubt a catchy number and is ready to be played in packed bars and clubs. In fact I’m certain there is scope in this for an absolutely club classic if remixed and tweaked to suit that audience, but in the meantime I’m perfectly happy for this to come on anywhere I am. Especially if I’m in the mood to throw some shapes.
