We know The Vegan Leather have been around for a while and that This House isn’t exactly a new single, but since we’ve featured a number of other acts from this year’s Tenement Trail line-up in recent weeks, we felt that it was only fair that we show some Popped love to one of our favourite acts on the hugely impressive bill.

The lead single from the 2015 EP of the same name, This House is the perfect introductory point to the Paisley outfit’s unique sound, fusing the art-school rock riffs of the likes of Franz Ferdinand with vibrant, dancefloor-filling synths and pulsing electro-beats to create a track that will leave you wondering whether you should be jumping about with your pint in the air or dusting off your best dance moves.

Having spent this year building a reputation as one of the most exciting acts on the Glasgow scene and with new releases in the pipeline, it’s sure only only a matter of time before the four-piece make their breakthrough across the country.
